Veiligheidsregio Limburg-Noord aims to better protect residents and visitors of North and Central Limburg against (health) risks, disasters and crises.
Veiligheidsregio Limburg-Noord (VRLN) is one of our country's 25 safety regions. Within Veiligheidsregio Limburg-Noord, the fire brigade, GGD and crisis management work together. The partnership is governed by the participating municipalities:Beesel, Bergen, Echt-Susteren, Gennep, Horst aan de Maas, Leudal, Maasgouw, Mook en Middelaar, Nederweert, Peel en Maas, Roerdalen, Roermond, Venlo, Venray en Weert. Veiligheidsregio is also a partnership between the police, municipalities,defensie, waterschappen, Rijkswaterstaat, Ambulancezorg Limburg-Noord en Prorail. The aim of cooperation is to make joint preparations and achieve a coordinated approach to a disaster or crisis.
